Specify compute configuration details

  1. Enter the following information in the
    Compute Configuration
    panel:
    Parameter label
    Description
    Compute Compartment
    Required. The compartment where you want to create the compute resources.
    Instance Name
    Required. The instance name to identify the VM.
    DNS Hostname Label
    Required. DNS hostname label.
    Make sure that the DNS hostname label is unique across all VNICs in the subnet and complies with RFC 952 and RFC 1123.
    Compute Shape
    Required. The compute shape for the VM.
    See the Oracle documentation to learn about the CPU and RAM sizes for the selected compute shape. For flex type, you can specify the CPU and RAM sizes.
    Flex Shape OCPUs
    Required for flex type compute shape. The number of OCPUs that you want to allocate to this instance.
    See the Oracle documentation to learn about the maximum supported value for the selected flex type.
    Flex Shape RAM in GB
    Required for flex type compute shape. The amount of RAM that you want to allocate to this instance.
    See the Oracle documentation to learn about the maximum supported value for the selected flex type.
    Availability Domain
    Required. The availability domain to contain the IDMC deployment.
    Public SSH Key String
    Required. The public SSH key to access the VM through SSH.
    You can either choose the SSH key file or paste the SSH key in the text box.
