Installing the Operations Edition on a Governance Edition for UNIX

Installing the Operations Edition on a Governance Edition for UNIX

You can install Operations Edition on an instance of Governance Edition in console mode on Linux.
  1. Log in to the machine with a system user account.
  2. Run the
    Informatica_PMPC_Operations_3.0HF1.bin -i console
    file from the directory where you downloaded the files.
  3. Press
    1
    to install Proactive Monitoring for PowerCenter Governance.
  4. Press
    Enter
    .
    The
    Prerequisites
    section displays the installation requirements. Verify that all requirements are met before you continue the installation. .
  5. Press
    Enter
    .
    Installation Directory
    section appears.
  6. Enter the location where you installed Proactive Monitoring for PowerCenter Operations. The default location of the Installation directory is
    /home/dev/Proactive_Monitoring
  7. If you entered a different installation directory, enter
    Y
    to confirm the installation directory path.
  8. Press
    Enter
    .
    The
    Pre-Installation Summary
    section appears.
  9. Review the pre-installation summary, and press
    Enter
    to continue.
    The
    -Installation Complete
    section appears.
  10. Review the
    PMPC_Operations_3.0HF1_Install.log
    file for errors in the installation directory.
  11. Press
    Enter
    to complete the installation and exit the installer.
Review the following files in the installation directory for information about the installation process:
  • PMPC_Operations_3.0HF1_Install.log
  • Readme.txt
