Upgrade RulePoint Overview

You can upgrade RulePoint version 6.1 to 6.2 on both Windows and Linux. If you want to upgrade from version 6.0 or 6.0.1, you must first upgrade to version 6.1 and then upgrade to version 6.2.
When you upgrade RulePoint, you specify the directory that contains the previous version. The installer backs up the previous version of RulePoint and the RTAM applications in the
<RulePoint installation directory>/backup
 directory before the upgrade.
The installer then updates the existing configuration to the latest version.
