Enrichments for Japan Addresses

Enrichments for Japan Addresses

You can configure Informatica Address Verification to include enrichments in the validated Japan addresses. To enable address enrichments for Japan, you must license and install the relevant address databases for Japan and include the corresponding unlock code in
SetConfig.xml
.
CHOUMEI_AZA_CODE
A 11-digit code that uniquely identifies a delivery point in Japan.
If you specify the CHOUMEI_AZA_CODE enrichment, Address Verification returns the old Choumei Aza code in the validated output. To receive the Choumei Aza code for an earlier version of the address, you must also enable the
MatchingExtendedArchive
attribute of the
Process
element in
Parameters.xml
along with the address enrichment settings.
NEW_CHOUMEI_AZA_CODE
The Choumei Aza code that Japan Post issues when it updates an address. The new Choumei Aza code is also an 11-digit code that uniquely identifies a delivery point in Japan.
Address Verification returns the new Choumei Aza code that Japan Post specifies when it updates an address. However, Japan Post might update an address more than once. To ensure that you have the current address data and the current Choumei Aza code for an address, verify the new Choumei Aza code in the address code lookup mode. For more infomation, see Using the Extended Archives to Check Addresses.
GAIKU_CODE
A four-digit code that uniquely identifies a city block in Japan. You can use a combination of the new Choumei Aza code and the Gaiku code in the AddressCodeLookUp function to identify a unique address in Japan.
