Fast Completion Mode

Fast Completion Mode

You can use the fast completion (FASTCOMPLETION) mode to receive address suggestions as you typeahead. You can use the fast completion mode when you want to generate suggestions based on truncated input.
The fast completion mode is particularly useful when you need to quickly enter addresses as you receive address data from the customers. In the fast completion mode, you can receive suggestions to complete partial inputs. Because the fast completion mode is optimized for verifying truncated inputs, the initial letters of an address element input are important in fetching the best results.
In the fast completion mode, you can enter addresses only as fielded input that uses the
AddressElement
items. In the fast completion mode, you cannot use the
AddressLine
input formats such as
FormattedAddressLine
and
DeliveryAddressLine
because Informatica Address Verification does not parse addresses that you enter for verification in the fast completion mode. However, you can use the
AddressComplete
input when you verify addresses from countries that Address Verification supports for single-line address verification.
In the fast completion mode, you can receive up to 100 suggestions based on the value you configured for the
MaxResultCount
parameter. The default value for
MaxResultCount
is 20. You can set the value for
MaxResultCount
in
SetConfig.xml
or in
Parameters.xml
.
If you set
MaxResultCount
values in both
SetConfig.xml
and
Parameters.xml
, Address Verification uses the lower of the two values.
