Downloading the Latest Files

Downloading the Latest Files

If you previously downloaded databases, and if you want to download only the databases that Informatica updated since your last download, use the Overwrite Old Files and Smart Download options.

Client Application Instructions

  1. Start the Database Download Manager client application.
  2. In the Database Download Manager client application window, select
    Check All
    .
  3. Click
    Proceed to Download
    .
    The Database Download Manager client application download list appears.
  4. Select the
    Overwrite Old Files
     option and the
    Smart Download
     option.
  5. Click
    Start Download
    .

Command Line Instructions

Open the command prompt in the directory to which you extracted the
Downloadtool.jar
 file.
If the
config.properties
 file contains a valid token, enter the following command: 
java -jar Downloadtool.jar -o:yes -s:yes
If the
config.properties
 file does not contain a valid token, enter the following command and include a user name and password: 
java -jar Downloadtool.jar -un:admuser@yourdomain.com -pd:****** -o:yes -s:yes
The Database Download Manager downloads the newer versions of the files.
The smart download option also downloads any eligible file that you did not download previously.
