Enterprise Data Preparation Administrator

Enterprise Data Preparation
Administrator

The
Enterprise Data Preparation
administrator has full permissions and privileges for managing the
Enterprise Data Preparation
application.
Follow these steps to create an
Enterprise Data Preparation
administrator:
  1. In the Administrator tool, click the
    Security
    tab.
  2. In the Navigator, select a user or group.
  3. Click the
    Privileges
    tab.
  4. Click
    Edit
    . The
    Edit Roles and Privileges
    dialog box appears.
  5. On the
    Roles
    tab, expand the
    Enterprise Data Preparation Service
    . The list of roles available for the
    Enterprise Data Preparation Service
    appears.
  6. Select the Administrator role.
  7. Click
    OK.
  8. Click the
    Permissions
    tab, and then click the
    Connections
    tab..
  9. Assign permissions for the Hive connection, Hadoop connection, HDFS connection, anc cluster configuration created for the
    Enterprise Data Preparation Service
    .
