Effective in version 9.6.0, the Informatica Services include the following changes:
On Windows, when you run the command
infaservice.bat startup
to start the Informatica services, the
ISP
console window runs in the background.
Previously, the window appeared in the foreground when you ran
infaservice.bat startup
to start the Informatica services. Also, if you encounter error messages during the Service Manager startup, the installer saves the error messages to the
catalina.out
and
node.log
log files.
On Windows, you must be a user with administrative privileges to start the Informatica services from the command line and the Windows Start menu.
Previously, the user did not need administrative privileges to start the Informatica services.
