Generate a Mapping or Logical Data Object from an SQL Query

Effective in version 10.1, you can generate a mapping or a logical data object from an SQL query in the Developer tool.
To generate a mapping or logical data object from an SQL query, click
File
New
Mapping from SQL Query
. Enter a SQL query or select the location of the text file with an SQL query that you want to convert to a mapping. You can also generate a logical data object from an SQL query that contains only SELECT statements.
