Verify the Names of the Workflows and Associated Objects in the Model Repository
The names of any workflow and any associated object in the Model repository must use characters and symbols that conform to the XML
1.0
specification. After you upgrade, verify the workflow and object names. Update any name that does not conform to the specification.
The requirement applies to the names of the following objects:
Workflows
Task and gateway objects in a workflow
Workflow applications
Workflow variables
Workflow parameters
The XML 1.0 specification excludes a small number of characters and symbols from the names. If any name contains a character or symbol that the specification excludes, the workflow fails to run.
