Record the SMTP Configuration on the Domain

Record the SMTP Configuration on the Domain

In the pre-upgrade environment, the Informatica domain stores the SMTP configuration properties that the Analyst Service uses to send email notifications for scorecards. In the post-upgrade environment, the Email Service sends email notifications for scorecards, workflows, and Voting tasks. If you intend to use the SMTP configuration properties on the pre-upgrade domain to send scorecard notifications after you upgrade, record the SMTP configuration properties.
To find the SMTP configuration properties on the domain, perform the following steps:
  1. In the Administrator tool, click the Manage tab.
  2. Click the Services and Nodes view.
  3. In the Navigator, select the domain.
  4. In the contents panel, click the Properties view.
The Properties view shows the properties that you can record.
