Managing Events on the Event List Page

Managing Events on the Event List Page

In the
Event List
page, you can view a list of events, an overview summary of events, and event details. You can also drill to parent and child events and perform actions on events.
  1. In the Navigator, click
    Monitoring and Tracking
    Event List
    .
  2. To display events that were created within a specific time range, select a value from the
    Time frame
    list.
  3. To change the default time frame, select a new value and click
    Set as default time frame
    .
    On Windows operating systems, the default time frame applies to the current browser for the current Windows account. If you use multiple browsers for the same Windows account, you need to define a default time frame for each browser.
  4. To view a summary of all of the events that were created within the time frame according to the event type and status, click
    Overview
    .
    The overview displays the total number of events for each event type and status. Each total number contains a link that you can click to display the list of events for that event type or status.
  5. To view details for a specific event, click the event ID for the event that you want to view.
    The
    Details
    section displays information about the event.
  6. To drill to parent or child events for which you have viewing privileges, click the
    Drill Up
    or
    Drill Down
    icon next to the event that you want to view.
    The
    Details
    section displays information about the child or parent event.
  7. To perform an action on one or more events, select the events and click
    Actions
    .
    The
    Actions
    list displays the actions that you can perform on the selected events.
