PowerCenter Fixed Limitations

Review the Release Notes of previous releases for information about previous fixed limitations.
The following table describes fixed limitations:
A decimal field might be truncated in a transformation created from the Custom transformation because the Custom transformation accepts decimal data that is the wrong scale.
When you copy a source, target, or a transformation from one mapping to another, the new object appears with another name.
You cannot partition a Match transformation in a mapping that you imported from a Model repository.
When a mapping contains a Lookup transformation, the session enabled for partition fails intermittently.
When the sorter cache is on General Parallel File System (GPFS), the session with a Sorter transformation fails with an input/output error.
When you schedule a workflow to run continuously, the workflow sometimes misses the schedule and fails to schedule again.
When you schedule a workflow to run continuously with recovery enabled on Windows, the workflow run intermittently fails with a recovery file rename error.
When you try to import an xml with pmrep ObjectImport command, the import fails with an error denying permission to access the target folder.
When you do not have read permission for a connection object, you can still view the connection object properties in the session properties.
After migrating objects through the deployment groups with the Copy Persisted Values for all Workflow Variables option, duplicates are found in the PowerCenter repository.
When the parameter file is not present and the workflow runs with the Operating System profile, the workflow run succeeds instead of failing with an error.
If the table or column names begin with a number, the mapping xml import fails.
A PowerCenter user with all required privileges encounters an insufficient privileges error when initiating a workflow using the pmcmd program.
You cannot specify an error action when you use the ODBC provider type in the Microsoft SQL Server connection. (OCON-6191)
When you do not set an operating system profile, the PowerCenter Repository Manager sets the operating system profile name as not valid instead of NULL in the repository in all non-English locales.
When you configure the session and workflow to save logs by runs, the PowerCenter Integration Service is unable to get session and workflow logs for the previous runs from the Workflow Monitor.
Workflows hang when using operating system profile and parameter file.
