Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) authentication does not work for the following web applications when the host name of the node where the application service runs belongs to a network domain name that does not have a public suffix:
  • Informatica Administrator
  • Informatica Analyst
  • Enterprise Data Catalog
  • Monitoring
The following example shows a host name that belongs to a domain name that has a public suffix:
<host name>.example.com
The following example shows a host name that belongs to a domain name that does not have a public suffix:
<host name>.example.local

When you log in to Informatica Administrator in a domain configured to use Kerberos cross realm authentication, the log in page displays the following message:
