Install PowerExchange

Metadata Manager uses PowerExchange for DB2 for z/OS to extract metadata from an IBM DB2 for z/OS subsystem. Therefore, you must install PowerExchange.

You must install the same version of PowerExchange as Metadata Manager. If the versions differ, the resource load can fail.

Install PowerExchange for DB2 for z/OS in the following locations:

The machine where the Metadata Manager Service runs.

The z/OS system hosting the DB2 for z/OS database subsystem.
