Managing Operating System Profiles

If the PowerCenter Integration Service uses operating system profiles, it runs workflows with the settings of the operating system profile assigned to the workflow or to the folder that contains the workflow.
You can create, edit, delete, and assign permissions to operating system profiles in the Operating System Profiles Configuration dialog box.
To display the Operating System Profiles Configuration dialog box, click Operating System Profiles Configuration on the Security Actions menu.
Complete the following steps to configure an operating system profile:
  1. Create an operating system profile.
  2. Configure the service process variables and environment variables in the operating system profile properties.
  3. Assign permissions on operating system profiles.
