Upgrade Business Glossary

Upgrade Business Glossary

You must run the upgradeRepository command line program to complete the upgrade of Business Glossary.
Before you run the command line program, ensure that the Analyst Service is running.
  1. Run the upgradeRepository command line program from the following directory:
    <Informatica installation directory>\isp\bin>
  2. To complete upgrading the Model repository in addition to upgrading existing Business Glossary data, use the following syntax for the upgradeRepository command line program:
    <Informatica installation directory>\isp\bin>infacmd.bat bg upgradeRepository -dn <Domain Name> -un <Administrator tool username> -pd <Administrator tool password> -sdn <Security Domain> -atn <Analyst service name>
  3. If you had Business Glossary data in the Model repository, view the Analyst Service log file to verify that the upgrade of data has completed successfully.
    The Analyst Service log file is in the following directory:
    <Informatica installation directory>\logs\<node name>\services\AnalystService\<Analyst service name>
