On the Informatica Deployment Manager home page, select
Manage Domain
.
The
Manage domain
window appears.
On the
Service
panel, click
Create service
.
The
Create service
page appears.
Optionally, you can choose to configure Secure Shell (SSH) protocol for secure authentication to create the service on a remote host. If you do not want to set the secure authentication, go to step
5.
If you enable secure authentication, set the authentication type to
Password
or
Key
.
For password type authentication, enter the machine IP address or host name, user name, password, and port to connect to the host machine.
By default, the SSH connection uses port 22.
For key type authentication, enter the machine IP address or host name, user name, path of the host authentication key, and port number.
In the
Service details
section, enter the name, user name, and password of the domain.
On the
Service
drop-down, select the service to create.
The fields to provide the configuration details of the service appear.
Depending on the service that you selected, provide the details to configure the service on the same page.
