Upgrading Transports

Upgrading Transports

Complete the following steps when you upgrade transports from a previous version:
  1. Note the current configuration in the /INFATRAN/ZPRGSQ SAP ECC custom tables. For versions earlier than PowerCenter Connect for SAP ECC 8.1, note the configuration in the ZERPPRGSEQ table. Write down the prefix, namespace, and sequence number.
  2. Delete the transports.
  3. Install the latest transports.
  4. Run /INFATRAN/YPMPRGSQ.
  5. Run /INFATRAN/YPMPRGSQ again. When you run the program, set the initial sequence number to <last number before upgrade> + 1.
    Informatica dropped support for deprecated BAPI mappings created in versions earlier than 8.5 and deprecated IDoc mappings created in versions earlier than 7.1. If you upgrade the deprecated mappings, the sessions will fail.
