Vertica Configuration File for Linux

Vertica Configuration File for Linux

If you use Linux operating systems, the Vertica ODBC driver uses a Vertica configuration file to determine the configuration options that it must use while connecting to a Vertica database.
Use a text editor to create the Vertica configuration file and name the file as
vertica.ini
. In the
vertica.ini
 file, define the configuration options that you want the Vertica ODBC driver to use to connect to a Vertica database.
After you configure the
vertica.ini
 file, define an environment variable called VERTICAINI and set it to the path where you stored the
vertica.ini
 configuration file.
