PWXPC Connection Attributes

PWXPC Connection Attributes

In PowerCenter, a new override option is available for DB2 relational connections.
You can configure the following changed connection attributes:
PWX Override

. You can configure the new USE_CATALOG_METADATA override in the
PWX Override
attribute in PWXPC DB2 relational connections.

Specify USE_CATALOG_METADATA=Y to have PowerExchange read metadata from the DB2 catalog during a DB2 bulk load session instead of issuing a SELECT statement. PowerExchange then does not require SELECT privileges on the target table to get the metadata that is required for creating the DB2 load statement.
