DTLURDMO Utility Statements and Parameters

DTLURDMO Utility Statements and Parameters

The DTLURDMO utility includes the following new or changed control statements and parameters in 10.4.0:
Statement
Parameters
Description
INPUT
data_set_name
file_name
folder_name
New
. The INPUT statement specifies an alternative input data set, file, or directory for the input maps or registrations on the source node. The INPUT statement can specify one of the following options:
  • For DM_COPY or XM_COPY commands, a VSAM KSDS data set if the source node is on z/OS, a partitioned file if the source node is on IBM i, or a directory if the source node is on Linux, UNIX, or Windows.
  • For REG_COPY commands, a CCT file name.
NOTIMESTAMPS
-
New
. Specify the NOTIMESTAMPS statement to suppress time stamps in the report output. This statement is primarily used for testing purposes. It suppresses the time stamp on the first line of the output, so reports run at different times can be more easily compared.
REG_COPY FASTLOAD
-
New
. Use the FASTLOAD statement with REG_COPY to improve performance when DTLURDMO is the only operation updating the CCT file.
REPORTDEST
LOG
STDERR
STDOUT
file_name
New
. The REPORTDEST statement specifies a destination for the reports that you generate with the utility. You can use this statement to send the report to a standard output location or to a separate file on the computer where the utility runs.
TESTMODE
-
Changed
. Use the TESTMODE statement to model selection scenarios without making in-memory changes or updating the output files. This control statement now functions the same for all copy statements.
VALIDATE
-
Changed
. Use the VALIDATE statement to model selection scenarios and modify in-memory changes to the selected maps and registrations without committing the changes to the output files. This control statement now functions the same for all copy statements.
