Creating a Server or Client Certificate using IBM Navigator for i and IBM Digital Certificate Manager

To create a server or client certificate, use IBM Navigator for i and IBM Digital Certificate Manager.
  1. Use IBM Navigator for i to connect to the Digital Certificate Manager.
  2. In the Digital Certificate Manager, select Create Certificate.
  3. Select Server or client certificate for another system running IBM i.
  4. Enter details that you recorded in Record Certificate Details for a server or client certificate.
  5. Enter the value for the Certificate store path and filename.
  6. Enter the value for the Certificate store password. Note the password for use in the PowerExchange DBMOVER SSL statement.
    If the Certificate store path and filename does not already exist, it is created.
Record the values for use in DBMOVER statement SSL parameters CERTIFICATE_LOCATION, KEY_LABEL, and EPASS.
