SAP HANA CDC Log Tables

The extraction process uses the following log tables to record change data:

The PKLOG transaction log table contains the captured inserts, updates, and deletes, along with associated metadata.

The PROCESSED log table contains the current maximum sequence number for the most recent extraction cycle.

PowerExchaange creates a CDC table for each source table registered with the Full Audit option. The CDC tables contain the following information:

before images of updated rows

captured inserts, updates and delete

associated metadata for the source tables
