Step 3. Verify or Set the Path Environment Variable

Verify or set the Path environment variable. The installation program updates the Path environment variable to include the PowerExchange installation directory. If the PowerExchange installation directory is not included, PowerExchange features, such as the PowerExchange Navigator help, might not work.
  1. Click

    Advanced System Settings

  2. Click
    Environment Variables
    .
  3. To verify or change the Path environment variable, perform the following steps:
    • In the
      System variables
      box, select
      Path
      and click
      Edit
      .
    • In the
      Variable value
      box, verify that the Path environment variable contains the correct path to the PowerExchange installation directory. If it does not, add the PowerExchange installation directory to the semicolon‑separated list of paths. If you accepted the default installation location, use the following default path:
      C:\Informatica\PowerExchange
      v

      m
