UPLOADMAPS Command

The UPLOADMAPS command converts source .dmp data map files into runtime .dmx map files on either the local system or a remote PowerExchange Listener node. The data maps to convert are based on the schema and map masks you provide.

Syntax

The command has the following syntax:

PWXUMAP COMMAND=UPLOADMAPS
TYPE=DMX
DMPDIRECTORY=path/dmp_list_directory
OUTPUT_FILE=log_file_name
LOCATION={node_name|local} 
[UID=user_name] 
[PWD=password|EPWD=encrypted_password]
[SCHEMAMASK=schema_mask]
[MAPMASK=data_map_mask]

The TYPE parameter must specify DMX. The MAPMASK parameter must specify a data map name mask rather than an extraction map mask.

Parameters

The following parameter is specific to the command:

DMPDIRECTORY=c:\temp\MyDmpMaps: The directory to which the generated list of .dmp data maps to process is written. These data maps are the ones that match the schema and map name masks you specify.

Example 1. Conversion of all .dmp data maps to .dmx files on the local system

PWXUMAP UPLOADMAPS TYPE=DMX
