Data Preview on the Spark Engine

Data Preview on the Spark Engine

Effective in version 10.2.2, you can preview data within a mapping that runs on the Spark engine in the Developer tool. Previewing data helps to design and debug big data mappings.
You can choose sources and transformations as preview points in a mapping that contain the following hierarchical types:
  • Array
  • Struct
  • Map
Data preview is available for technical preview.
Technical preview functionality is supported for evaluation purposes but is unwarranted and is not supported in production environments or any environment that you plan to push to production. Informatica intends to include the preview functionality in an upcoming release for production use, but might choose not to in accordance with changing market or technical circumstances.
