The following table describes the address data cleansing rules in the U.S./Canada accelerator:
Name
Description
rule_CAN_Address_Certification_Hybrid
Validates the deliverability of Canadian addresses to the Software Evaluation and Recognition Program (SERP) standards that Canada Post maintains for Canadian addresses. The rule corrects errors in the input addresses where possible and includes a status port that identifies the addresses that meet the SERP standard. Use the rule when you can connect the input address fields to the Hybrid input ports on the Address Validator transformation.
When you certify a set of address records to the SERP standard, you must submit a certification report to Canada Post. The Address Validator transformation includes property fields that you can populate with information for the report. Save or print the report, and include it with the address details that you submit to Canada Post.
