Library Workspace Overview

Use the
Library
workspace to browse, search, or filter a collection of assets that you have the privilege to access. You can browse and view assets, glossaries, projects, and tags.
Begin browsing Model repository content with the Library Navigator. The Library Navigator contains sections based on the different ways that you might want to look up Model repository content. For example, if you want to find all Glossary assets associated with one glossary, you can start browsing from the Glossary section.
You can look up Model repository content in the following ways through the Library Navigator:
  • By asset
  • By project
  • By glossary
  • By tags
When you open a section, you can select a type of asset, and view the list of assets in the asset list. You can sort or group the asset list by asset property to organize your assets. You cannot sort the asset list by description.
Use the Library Navigator to perform a Discovery Search. A discovery search finds assets and their relationships with other assets in an organization. You can add filters including search filters to narrow the asset list. You can sort by description of an asset in the search results.
You can open an asset from the asset list. When you click an asset, the asset opens in its corresponding workspace. You can edit the asset, view history, add comments, and view related assets.
