UpdateSrcPrefix

UpdateSrcPrefix

Updates the owner name for session source tables. You can update the owner name for one or all sources in a session. Updatesrcprefix updates the owner name for source tables at the session level.
pmrep
updates source table owner names if you previously edited the source table name in the session properties.
The UpdateSrcPrefix command uses the following syntax:
updatesrcprefix -f <folder_name> -s [<qualifying_path>.]<session_name> [-t <source_name>] -p <prefix_name> [-n (use source instance name; not using -n gives old, deprecated behavior)]
The following table describes the
pmrep
UpdateSrcPrefix options and arguments:
Option
Argument
Description
-f
folder_name
Required. Name of the folder containing the session.
-s
session_name
Required. Name of the session containing the sources to update.
For reusable sessions, enter the session name.
For non-reusable sessions, you must also enter the session path, such as
worklet_name.session_name
or
workflow_name.session_name
.
-t
source_name
Optional. Name of the source to update.
If you omit this option,
pmrep
updates all source table owner names in the session.
When you include the -n option, you enter the name of the source instance as displayed in the session properties or as output by the ListTablesBySess command.
Although the UpdateSrcPrefix command will run without the -n option, include the -n option to use the source instance name.
If you omit the -n option, you must enter the dbd name and the source table name as
dbd_name.source_name
. You can find the source dbd name in the Designer Navigator. The Designer generates the dbd name from the source type or data source name when you create a source definition in the repository.
-p
prefix_name
Required. Owner name you want to update in the source table.
-n
-
Optional. Matches the source_name argument with source instance names.
Although the UpdateSrcPrefix command will run without the -n option, include the -n option to use the source instance name.
When you do not include this option,
pmrep
matches the source_name argument with the source table names.
