Download Apache Ambari Binary Files for Enterprise Data Catalog

Perform the following steps if you are applying the service pack on Enterprise Data Catalog running on SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP4:
  1. Download the
    ambaribinariessuse12.tar.gz
    file that includes the Apache Ambari binary files.
    To download the file, contact Informatica Global Customer Support.
  2. Based on your requirement, perform one of the following steps:
    • If you are installing Enterprise Data Catalog 10.4.0 and then applying the service pack, copy the downloaded file to the following directory:
      /data/InstallerTemp/LDM10402/source
      . You can find this directory in the location where you extracted the Informatica installer .tar file.
    • If you are applying the service pack on an existing Enterprise Data Catalog 10.4.0 installation and want to use SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP4 on any of the nodes in the cluster, copy the downloaded file to the following location on the nodes:
      <infa_home>/services/InfaHadoop Service/
    Ensure that you perform this step before you enable the Informatica Cluster Service.
