Organization Key GB

Output port that contains the organization key that the Royal Mail assigns to an organization at an address. The organization key is an eight-digit code that uniquely identifies the organization at the address.

Each organization at an address in the Royal Mail Postal Address File (PAF) has a unique organization key. If more than one organization shares an address, the Royal Mail assigns a unique organization key to each organization. If an organization has branches at multiple addresses, the Royal Mail assigns a unique organization key to each branch.

The organization key does not store any information about the organization or the address. To create an organization key for an address, the Royal Mail increments the most recent organization key in the PAF.

To find the organization key for an organization at a United Kingdom address, select the Organization Key GB port.
