Create a rule intent to assign a policy to a business term.
  1. Click
    Open
    to open the
    Library
    workspace.
  2. In the Library Navigator, click
    Assets
    .
  3. In the
    Assets
    section, select the Income Statement business term.
  4. To edit the business term, click
    Edit
    .
  5. In the
    Rules
    property, select
    Create New Rule
    from the
    Actions menu
    .
  6. Configure the following properties:
    Property
    Description
    Name
    Rule Intent for Income Statement
    Rule Intent
    Revenue is recognized as recommended in US GAAP.
  7. Click
    Save
    .
  8. Click
    Save and Finish
    .
