Creating Custom Relationships

Creating Custom Relationships

Create a custom relationship when you want to link two business terms using a relationship which is not available in the Analyst tool. Content managers can use the custom relationship from the
Related Assets
section when configuring the business term properties.
  1. In the Analyst tool header, open
    Glossary Relationships
    under
    Manage
    .
  2. Click the Add icon.
    The
    Create Custom Relationship
    dialog box opens.
  3. Specify if the relationship is bidirectional.
  4. For a unidirectional relationship, specify the name of the primary relationship.
  5. Optionally, specify a name of the derived relationship if you have chosen to create a bidirectional relationship.
  6. Optionally, specify the color of the line that the Analyst tool uses to connect the related business terms in the relationship view diagram.
  7. Click
    OK
    .
