Installation

Install Data Quality for Microsoft Excel with Microsoft Excel version 2007 or later.

Prerequisites

Data quality developers must install and enable one of the following services:
  • Informatica Data Services Web Services 9.1 or later
  • PowerCenter Web Services Hub 8.6.1 or later

Installation

To install Data Quality for Microsoft Excel, perform the following steps:
  • Stop Microsoft Excel.
  • Run the installer executable.
  • Restart Microsoft Excel.

Update for SOAP 1.2

Effective in September 2016, Data Quality for Microsoft Excel supports the SOAP 1.2 binding type in addition to the SOAP 1.1 binding type.
To use Informatica web services that you publish with SOAP 1.2, uninstall any older version of Data Quality for Microsoft Excel. Follow the installation steps to install the current version.
