BCBS 239/CCAR Accelerator Overview

BCBS 239/CCAR Accelerator Overview

Use the BCBS 239/CCAR accelerator to verify data records against key international banking requirements.
The accelerator contains rule specifications. A rule specification is repository object that represents the data requirements of a business rule in a logical form. You can add a rule specification to a mapping in the same way that you add a mapplet to a mapping.
The rule specifications test the data sources that you select against the following regulatory requirements:
  • The principles of risk measurement and reportage that the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision define in standard 239
  • The Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) of the United States Federal Reserve
The accelerator installs with demonstration mappings that show you how you can connect rule specifications to data sources and targets. Some of the rule specifications use mapplet rules that install with the accelerator.
