Rule Specifications

Rule Specifications

A rule specification is an asset that represents the data requirements of a business rule in logical form.
The import operation adds the rule specifications to the following repository folder:
[Informatica_DQ_Content]\Rule_Specifications
Rule specifications are intended to answer the questions that commonly arise within business rules in an organization. For example, a rule specification might define one or more conditions that the business data must satisfy. Rule specifications and mapplets can be very similar, and they can use the same background data analysis and data transformation processes. Data analysts can create rule specifications in the Design workspace of the Analyst tool.
