View File System for Cloudera Data Platform

Effective in version 10.5.4, you can use the View File System (ViewFS) for Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) in Data Engineering Integration. ViewFS is a configuration on the cluster end and you can use it to read and write data with an HDFS connection.
Use Data Engineering Integration to read or write files from a cluster configured with ViewFS. With ViewFS, Data Engineering Integration can read or write data from multiple name nodes within the ViewFS configured cluster with the mount configuration. For instance, Data Engineering Integration can read and write data to a single cluster with multiple name nodes. For more information, see
