India Address Data Cleansing Rules

Use the address data cleansing rules to parse, standardize, and validate address data.

The following table describes the address data cleansing rules in the India accelerator:

Name	Description
mplt_IND_Address_Info_From_Postcode	Derives the names of subdivisions such as state, district, and taluk from the input postcode.
mplt_IND_Latitude_Longitude	Returns the latitude and longitude coordinates of each input address. The rule also returns state names.
rule_IND_Address_Parse_Hybrid	Parses unstructured India addresses into address elements. The rule does not validate the addresses. Use the rule when you can connect the input address fields to the Hybrid input ports on the Address Validator transformation.
rule_IND_Address_Parse_Multiline	Parses unstructured India addresses into address elements. The rule does not validate the addresses. Use the rule when you can connect the input address fields to the Multiline input ports on the Address Validator transformation.
rule_IND_Address_Validation_Discrete	Validates the deliverability of India addresses. The rule corrects errors in the input addresses where possible. Use the rule when you can connect the input address fields to the Discrete input ports on the Address Validator transformation.
rule_IND_Address_Validation_Hybrid	Validates the deliverability of India addresses. The rule corrects errors in the input addresses where possible. Use the rule when you can connect the input address fields to the Hybrid input ports on the Address Validator transformation.
rule_IND_Address_Validation_Multiline	Validates the deliverability of India addresses. The rule corrects errors in the input addresses where possible. Use the rule when you can connect the input address fields to the Multiline input ports on the Address Validator transformation.
rule_IND_Postcode_Parse	Parses the postcode from the input data.
rule_IND_Postcode_Standardize	Standardizes India postal codes to the standard format.
rule_IND_Postcode_Validation	Validates India postal codes. The rule matches standardized postal codes with valid India postal codes. If the rule does not find a matching postal code, it verifies whether the postal code follows the standard India postal code pattern.
rule_IND_State_Validation	Validates India state names.
