The new Data Archive Salesforce Accelerator allows you to create connections to Salesforce and archive Salesforce data.
The Salesforce accelerator contains two standard entities, the Task and Event entities. You can configure these entities as well as create custom entities in the Enterprise Data Manager after you install the accelerator. For more information about the Salesforce entities and entity tables, see the
Data Archive Enterprise Data Manager Guide.
After you create a connection to Salesforce and run a project to archive Salesforce data, you can use standard Data Archive features like compliance features, Data Discovery, and Data Visualization on the Salesforce data.
The Salesforce accelerator is licensed separately from Data Archive and you must install the accelerator after you install or upgrade Data Archive. For more information about the Salesforce accelerator, see the
Data Archive User Guide
.
Salesforce archiving does not support the restore functionality.
