File Archive Migration

Effective in version 6.1.1, you must create the table structures in the optimized file archive before you can migrate data from File Archive Service 5.3.x to the optimized file archive.

To migrate data from File Archive Service 5.3.x to the optimized file archive, you must run the following jobs:

File Archive 5.3.x to Optimized File Archive Metadata Migration: This job creates the table structures in the optimized file archive for the tables included in a File Archive 5.3.x connection.
File Archive 5.3.x to Optimized File Archive Data Migration: This job migrates data from File Archive 5.3.x to the optimized file archive.

Previously, you had to run only the File Archive 5.3.x to Optimized File Archive Data Migration, which created table structures and migrated data in the same process.

Effective in version 6.1.1, you can run the File Archive 5.3.x Table List for Migration to Optimized File Archive job to create a list of tables to migrate to the optimized file archive. You can edit the list to include or delete specific tables.

Previously, the file archive migration process migrated all tables included in the File Archive 5.3.x connection.
