Leads, opportunities, and quotes must have a closed or inactive status to be archived and purged by Data Archive. Downward transaction chain functional requirements are adhered to by Data Archive for sales leads and opportunities. Leads, opportunities, and quotes create a transaction chain as a lead becomes an opportunity which becomes a quote. Data Archive enforces a downwards transaction chain validation to archive and purge the leads and opportunities that become a quote. Informatica does not treat the quote as part of the chain because when the quote is created and can be archived and purged, the lead and opportunity become immaterial. However, if the quote is not purgeable, then the leads and opportunities associated with it are not be archived and purged.
