Requisition Line Not Purgeable

Requisition Line Not Purgeable

This rule validates that the requisition line has no activity after the purge parameter date, does not reference a material transaction record in Oracle Inventory and a buyer has not modified the requisition.
This rule can be modified to ignore the material transaction check if Oracle Inventory is not installed. If you use Oracle Inventory, you should run the Oracle Inventory entity to remove the Material Transactions records first.
Otherwise, Informatica generally does not make adjustments to the material transaction rule since Oracle requires it for inter-module functional integrity. Certain Material Transaction information may not appear correctly when viewed online in your production environment if the referenced-requisition transaction is archived. However, if the requisition (and its PO) is closed and meets all other purge criteria and the Inventory Accounting Periods in question are closed, then this rule may be disabled.
Informatica generally does not make any other adjustments to this rule since it ensures that the Requisition has been in a static state up to the purge parameter date. Any activity after the purge parameter date may indicate activity on related transaction in the PO transaction chain (for example, updates to a related receipt transaction). Barring failure of other business rules, requisitions that fail this rule would eventually be picked up in subsequent archive or purge cycles when the activity date is within the purge parameter date.
