ILM Discovery Option

You can discover table relationships from data stored in the optimized file archive. You may need to discover table relationships from the optimized file archive if the source database is no longer available.

You can invoke Informatica Data Explorer to connect to and run the table relationship discovery on the optimized file archive. Alternatively, you can generate profiles for the optimized file archive within Informatica Data Explorer and import the profiling results.

You use the discovered table relationships to create constraints for the source metadata in the ILM repository. Then, you can use the constraints to create data discovery entities.
