Architecture

Effective in Data Archive 6.1, the File Archive Service has a new architecture that is not compatible with the File Archive Service in previous versions of Data Archive.

You can continue to use File Archive Service 5.3.x after you upgrade to Data Archive 6.1. However, Informatica will discontinue support for File Archive Service 5.3.x in the near future. To maintain full support, Informatica recommends that you move to File Archive Service 6.1 as soon as possible.
