Data Partitioning

Effective in version 6.2, you can re-partition archived data directly in the Data Vault to improve query performance and to free resources.

Previously, to use a different characteristic to partition data files, you restored the archived data to the source database. Then, you archived the data with the new characteristic and registered the data files in the Data Vault repository.
