SAP Application Retirement

This section describes the updates and changed behavior for SAP application retirement for version 6.4.
Message IDs
To help understand messages and identify the component that caused the message, messages now start with a message ID. The message ID identifies the type of message, component, and message number.
Previously, it was hard to determine what component or process triggered the message.
Resume Stopped or Paused Retirement Job
When you resume a retirement job that you previously stopped or paused, Data Archive resumes the job from the point after the last package was successfully loaded to the staging area.
Previously, when you resumed a retirement job, Data Archive resumed the job from the point after the last table was successfully loaded to the staging area.
Support for SAP Java Connector 3.0.12 and Later
The retirement job uses the SAP Java Connector version 3.0.12 and later to log in to the SAP application to read data from special tables, ADK files, and attachments.
Previously, Data Archive supported SAP Java Connector version 2.1.10, which SAP has deprecated.
