Creating the Use Rule Set Rule

Optionally, create a rule that directs the Rule Engine to a security rule set.

In the

Rule Editor

, click the listener port rule folder in the rule tree, and select

Action

Append rule

The

Append Rule

window appears.

Enter USERULESET as the rule name.

Select the All Incoming Connections matcher.

Select the Use Rule Set rule action.

Define the following rule action parameter:

Rule Set Name: The name of the rule set that contains the masking rules that you want to apply.

Select the Continue processing action.

Click

The connection rule appears in the rule tree.

Select

File

Update Rules

The connection rule is saved.
