Step 1. Verify Requirements

Verify the following requirements before you use the Stored Procedure Accelerator for Sybase:
  • You must have Dynamic Data Masking version 9.6.2 or later installed.
  • You must have a Sybase ASE database that contains stored procedures. If the database does not contain a stored procedure, you can set up the accelerator and create rules, but the rules will not return a match and will not mask data.
  • The client application that sends requests to the database must connect to Dynamic Data Masking with a jConnect 6.x or jConnect 7.x JDBC driver.
