When the property hive.metastore.uris is not present in hive-site.xml, edit the cluster configuration .zip archive to add the hive.metastore.uris property:

Find the cluster configuration .zip archive file from the previous import and edit the hive-site.xml file to include the following property:
thrift://<Hive host name>:<port>
Save the file and the .zip archive, and re-create the cluster configuration and Hadoop connection.
